WESTHOUGHTON Labour councillor Peacock has unwittingly uncovered the desperation his party is in over where they can increase their declining electoral support with next years elections rapidly approaching.

Across the country their former solid 'core' of voters are rapidly disappearing as the scandals over 'grooming gangs', the Welsh NHS and their attitude towards patriotic English people, as well as the Scots. Finally abandoning the party — they are now in desperate straights?

Over recent times their answer was to undemocratically alter the then fair electoral system to suit Labour —with postal votes for all,'gerrymandering' of constituency boundaries and now votes for 16 and 17 year old's (who they think are more likely to vote Labour). Where will all this end —votes for one year old's? Ridiculous you say, but according to Cllr Peacock all those affected by what Government does should also have a say.

Labour raised the school leaving age to 18, so how many under this age pay tax and what about the age of punishment for those committing crimes?

No Cllr Peacock the Labour Party has meddled enough for political gain.
