THANK you Shannon Court for looking after my mother Kashiben Mistry who died last week at the grand old age of 99.

She spent the last three years of her amazing life in their care. Despite language difficulties, staff members were able to communicate with her and tend to her needs. In fact some of them went that extra mile to try and learn essential phrases to make themselves understood.

Members of the family and friends of the family were able to visit her unannounced any time of the day and welcomed to stay as long as they liked. We always found mother in a clean and presentable state any time we visited.

There are no words to describe the care, compassion and kindness she received from all the staff day and night. They treated Kashiben not as a patient but as one of their own family during her stay.

Her last couple of days were amazing. Shannon Court provided accommodation and support to my sister during these difficult period, by providing food and drinks, and let her tend to mother 24/7. All the family including great grand-children were allowed to stay in her room to say last goodbyes.
