I WAS listening to the radio this morning, when the leader of the council, Cliff Morris was talking about the proposed Mayor of Manchester, and the temporary proposal to elect an interim mayor.
In his interview he commented about "his" councillors. I would just like to point out to Cllr Morris that the councillors of Bolton are not "his" councillors, they are duly elected by the people of Bolton, and therefore, do not fall under Cllr Morris's remit of "his" councillors. If he disagrees, and feels they are "his" councillors, is he then prepared to take responsibility for the elected individuals, and any misdemeanours that occur i.e. non payment of council tax.
