WE fully support the lobby of Bolton Council this evening at 6.30pm at Bolton town Hall.

The proposal is to introduce £43 million of cuts to the budget 2015 to 2017, on top of £100 million cuts already implemented over the last four years,

This will result in a further 500 job losses, on top of 1350 already lost.

We mostly share the concerns of the unions and the workforce, of the outsourcing of Adult Social, which will create a two tier workforce, and a inferior service for our elderly.

Three million pounds are to be spent on private consultants, and senior managers to oversee these devastating cuts.

We therefore call on all Councillors especially Labour, who have a 22 seat majority on the council, to pull back from the brink, and reject such savage cuts, that only serve to cut services well below the bone, and severely weaken our local economy, that we may never recover from.

It is high time to say enough is enough, we also urge the public of Bolton to support this lobby, and help save your town, from a complete disaster.
