MORE travel chaos in Horwich.
With both Chorley New Road totally gridlocked due to the British Rail bridge upgrades at Adlington and Blackrod, the council decided to run road upgrades on Chorley Old Road, which is causing major disruption.
We had Blackrod bypass closed earlier in the week for 'litter picking' now to add further chaos the council has decided to upgrade pavements on Ramsbottom Road. You really couldn't script this total chaos they are causing.
Wednesday morning was a total nightmare in and around Horwich, of course the Council will stand behind its usual smokescreen but the facts are zero thought has been given to local residents. I for one can not wait for them to start door knocking in the run up to the election in May.
