THE word shameless comes to mind over Bolton North East Labour candidate David Crausby's desperate attempts at turning positive news negative, over extra train capacity on the line to Manchester.
He knows that next year when the historically significant huge investment
in Bolton's rail network is complete, local rail travellers will then have an electrified, fully upgraded route that will emphasise Labour's negligence over the 13 years up to 2010 when it was in Government.
All parts of Bolton will eventually benefit thanks to election of a Conservative government in 2010, so why would local rail travellers want to support Mr Crausby or his Labour Party in 2015, when they have had no interest whatsoever in investing in our local rail network in the past even when Bolton West's then Labour MP Ruth Kelly was Transport Secretary?
Sorry Mr Crausby, your negative comments on rail investment are not justified!
