IS the CCG really convinced that £378.6 million is enough to run the health services, as such a small sum, that looks large, but when broken down works out at £3.76p a day.

For Acute Care it is £186.6m, that is £1.85p per day from each taxpayer and wage earner in the Bolton district.

As I am to believe there are 276,000 citizens in Bolton, surely £1.85 per day from each citizen is so very little when put against the minimum wage of £6.70 per hour. Where is it all going, that is the £6.70 per hour when we only put aside £1.85 for acute care per day.

Community health gets £58m, that is just 57p from each citizen, and so on, 54p for prescriptions, yes 54p.

Now for the big issue, mental health, a massive 30p per day to treat the most vulnerable in society. Come on citizens you can do better than this, shout at your politicians.

Take heed and please CCG be realistic and price the goods properly.
