I NOTE in the Bolton News that the council is to spend £409,000 on repairing a short stretch of Plodder Lane.
How can the road planners justify this when surely the bottom of Chorley Old Road is far far worse.
I was informed when I rang a few months ago that Chorley Old Road was not deemed bad enough to repair. How crazy. Eventually there will be a great hole and cars will disappear.
It’s bad enough to travel over this road in a car, but the other day I travelled to town on the bus. Guess what, it is just as bad. It nearly shakes you to bits. I pity anyone with a bad back.
There is no point the council saying that they haven’t got the money but surely they should get their priorities correct. Can we see some action please?
