I CANNOT beleive the stupidity of someone at the highways department,
Someone has sent the residents of Bromley Cross Road a letter informing them that from July 27, the road will be closed to vehicles for three weeks.
No such letter has been received by residents of Birtenshaw Crescent which runs off Bromley Cross Road and therefore will be closed to emergency service vehicles and any other vehicles. There are people living here who cannot walk and have medical appointments to keep.
Whoever sent the letter has not looked at the maps or given any thought to the matter.
