ANDREW Davidson prior to the election always sounded moderate and reasonable in his letters now however he is showing his true colours as someone who seems to think he is the only one who pays tax.
He says he works 60/70 hours a week and is away from home 60% of the time. Just what is your job Mr Davidson? Many people work 12 hour shifts, as for him paying 30% tax, presumably this includes NI.
Many people on low and fixed incomes pay tax, VAT being a example, then insurance tax, road tax if they can afford a car and the numerous other sneaky taxes.
As for Eastern Europeans, well they do seem to depress wages, contribute to the housing shortages, the strains on schools and the NHS, but there again right wing business people like low wages much better for profits.
