I WATCHED the TV news on Tuesday and heard a very senior police officer quite justifiably complaining about the vast amounts of expensive time his officers were spending finding run away teenagers.
Social work not police work he felt. On the same news it was reported that five police forces are investigating the habits of Edward Heath in the 1970s. A job previously done by historians I would have thought.
