BRIAN Derbyshire writes that he supports a nationalised rail etc etc and I agree with him on this point.
Utilities, communication, health and transport should be in the hands of British ownership and in the public sector.
However ran as a business, by businessmen and not the unions and three men for every job. We would need to be careful that the unions don't takeover and make demands that make it a non-viable operation.
Rail should be capped at £100/long distance and this would reduce congestion on the roads.
I think Brian is right, Jeremy Corbyn is a decent guy, but not a PM, I doubt that Andy Burnham is a PM either, but again a good person. The best leftie is Scottish red devil, unfortunately for Labour she became disaffected long ago and joined the SNP.
Whoever is appointed leader needs to come out and clearly state what they stand for and what policies they would implement. For all Labours bleating about what the conservatives have done, they had year in power and did not revoke one single Tory policy bar the poll tax. They have become the party that states what they are opposed to, but what they stand for or what they would do.
Whining and whinging is a turn off.
