THINGS are never quite what they seem in British politics nowadays, for example many people vote Conservative because they believe that this party is good with our economy.

Of course we only have to dig below the surface a little to find out that this is simply not true.

After the credit crunch of 2008 because of the actions of Gordon Brown's government bailing out and nationalising some of our banks, the UK managed to keep hold of its triple A credit rating. But once the coalition government came into power and the myth and policies of austerity began to roll out, we lost our triple A rating as a direct result of the chancellor making absurd economic decisions. It is interesting to note also that professors of economics, and people with vastly more economic knowledge than chancellor George Osborne warned him against the policies of austerity but of course he ignored this expert advice and continued to drag the economy down.

To date Mr Osborne and the Tories have borrowed more money and created more national debt in four short years than any other government in the history of UK Politics. Even Tory economist Ramesh Patel who knows a deal more about economics than George Osborne, wrote an evidence based piece called 'The deficit myth, So David Cameron when are you going to apologise'

The Conservative Party are the real wasters of taxpayers' money, and their extremist economic policies are plunging millions into poverty and desperation.
