MAY I thank most sincerely on behalf of Astley Bridge Legion Club Limited all who took part in our Remembrance Sunday Commemoration.
The church parade was very well attended by club officers and members, Seymour Road scout troop, St Paul's guides, brownies and rainbows, staff and pupils from local primary schools with a special mention to Holy Infants school for their first participation.
Sincere thanks to Revd. Nick Mc Kee of St Paul's ably assisted by Curate Ben for the beautiful and moving service of Remembrance. Thanks to our Parade Marshall, Standard Bearer, Lone Piper and Greater Manchester Police Officers and PCSOs without whom the parade could not take place.
Our appreciation to all artistes and performers who gave freely of their time and services during the afternoon concert, during which money was generously raised for the Poppy appeal through raffles where all prizes had been kindly donated.

Club Secretary
