In the words f the Bard, 'Parting is such sweet sorrow'
THE departure of the new Chief Executive was quite a shock after he was reported to have said he was delighted with the position and so was his family.
If as is suspected, there has been a severance payment made then this is disgusting. After all he did walk out of the job.
If this was in the terms of his contract then every council employee should have the same clause in theirs. If the suspicions are proved correct then I can only quote the Bard: 'Parting is such sweet sorrow.'
