WELL a week gone by and my grey bin is being beaten 3 to 1 by a litter pick and cast off items mainly collected from ginnels.
Just one bag of unrecognisable food wrappings against two bags of lazy folk dropping cans, food trays and litter plus a broken floor mop.
Perhaps estate agents should include in their information distances from food and drink outlets, there must be an average distance at which point oiks dump their takeaway food trays and drinks cans. All houses sold within that range should be cheaper!
Nobody explained to me how, when I am handed my reduced size grey bin, I will find space for litter pick items.
I recycle everything possible. It is an easy task, so I don't need lectures from the Town Hall. Without litter pick mess, my grey bin could often go a month whilst full.
There must be many in a similar position, Perhaps we would need a dump-it-on-the-town-hall-steps day. Or perhaps TV celebrities could do something useful. Anyone voted off the programme has to spend a month littler picking.
