ON behalf of all pensioners I would like to thank Mr Osborne for our disgusting pension increase and creating yet another type of second class citizen.
It will not buy a fish and chip meal.
Pensioners are living longer and are much fitter than they used to be thanks to our wonderful NHS, but we need a little more sustenance and your increase will not provide it.
Most of us have to have a job to supplement our income before your derisory pension rise as we are not entitled to extra benefits payments.
As regards the new rate of basic pension, surely if its basic then all pensioners should receive it after all we stood by this country of ours and contributed our share through some of its darkest financial times in its history.
Just to remind you George it will cost the lower paid pensioner the same amount to live as the higher paid one next year. What is this country of ours coming to?
We have one party leader whose pacifist ideas could see us all killed, and another who wants to show the world what a loving caring nation we are yet we cannot give our own pensioners a decent standard of living. Come on pensioners, elections are coming use your vote well.
