WHILE I suppose to some extent that he let his heart rule his head, the fact remains that aid worker Rob Lawrie is a would-be people smuggler and therefore in my opinion should not be made out to be some sort of celebrity for attempting to smuggle a child in to the country from a camp in Calais.

He knew it was wrong.

As we are all well aware, children are the innocent victims of this migrant chaos in Calais but to take preference to one child to get them out of the camp is not the answer.

So I would suggest to Mr Lawrie if you want to try and make a real difference pester the French government as much as you can for them to get all the kids out of these camps and give them proper food and shelter.

After all it is their responsibility is it not?
