20mph zone money better spent repairing roads and pavements
I READ with interest the Borough's plans to introduce more 20mph zones from a 'one-off' £500,000 capital funding.
Does councillor Nick Peel not think the money would have been put to better use by adding this amount to the yearly allotted funds for resurfacing our roads and repairing our atrocious pavements?
He talks about 'making Bolton's roads safer for everyone'. Eventually everyone will become hunchback due to one's eyes continually looking downwards.
