WHAT a lovely day I had shopping in Bolton.
I parked my car adjacent to the Ashburner Street open market, lots of parking space, no trouble parking. Walking into the open market area I saw a wonderful selection of foodstuffs, lots of stalls selling a variety of quality fresh foods and vegetables. In the outside area stalls displayed selections of ethnic/European clothes etc. for sale.
Whilst browsing around the indoor area of the market I heard a piano paying near the fast food area, there I saw a young man of ethnic origin playing the most superb classical music. What an experience! He continued playing with a selection of modern/classical music. It was a delight shopping in the open market, a truly multicultural experience.
Well done Bolton.
