THE Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was opposed to the EU for more than 40 years but now, as leader of the Labour Party, he’s changed his mind. Why? Who knows? Can you trust someone who holds a conviction for 40 years but changes his mind in a couple of weeks? It is not a person with integrity and, I’m ashamed to say, I voted for him.

If the Transatlantic Trade Agreement goes through workers' rights here will virtually cease to exist as will consumer rights but all three parties in this country want the deal to go through.

It will only help big business, not the man in the street unless he wants to be a serf. This government has constantly lied to us about immigration; nearly 2,000,000 more than it said. And allowing 70+ million Turks free access to this country is a joke but that is what is going to happen. Turkey will join the EU if not now but one day they will be in — Europe wants them in and this government wants them in. The EU quite simply wants the UK in because we are a net contributor to it. The EU receives more money from UK than any other member except Germany and gets virtually nothing in return for it.

My union, Unite, wants me to vote ‘Stay’ but the trade union movement has betrayed this country’s working-class since refusing to call a national strike in the 1920s.

We are the individuals who must decide. But seriously do not vote out of fear; this country is greater than that and we deserve better. Let us trust in ourselves. All the concessions that David Cameron says he has negotiated a better deal BUT the EU have not yet ratified IT and it will not be ratified until after the referendum. Brussels can still change its mind but the politicians will say anything to keep us in EU. Be brave — say emphatically no!
