WHEN you hear the Remain side talk about economic risks of leaving the EU, remember it was Euro enthusiasts who demanded we join the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM).
This act of economic vandalism led to interest rates rising to 15% in pursuit of an ideological commitment to a European super state.
Our forced exit from the ERM was called Black Wednesday because of the economic horror show that would unfold as a result of us not being part of the Eurozone. What happened? Well, free from the economic shackles, the UK economy grew for 16 uninterrupted years.
Remainers have never been straight with us, their negative tactics have worn so thin that the British people have lost faith in their “we’re all doomed” pantomime, why do they think we can’t be an independent country like most of the rest of the world, what do they think is wrong with us?
All we need on June 23 is the courage of our convictions and courage is something this country has never lacked.
