READING the story on the council's savings on the slim bins has left me wondering if they are actually living in the same town that I have lived in for 63 years.
I used to be proud to say I lived in Bolton but now looking round our town I am faced with fly tipping everywhere you look.
This is the reason they have saved money, people aren't recycling more just dumping more. If they didn't recycle before they won't now.
Have you tried to report fly tipping to the council? You can only do this online. You fill in all the details, try to send it and it fails everytime. When you finally speak to someone they tell you they will sort it and three month later its still there but now there's a lot more with it. Open your eyes. Bolton is fast becoming a dumping ground.
