I AM no fan of so called working class heroics of Cllr Guy Harkin and his cohorts however I feel that this nonsense of "Hate Crime" because he has referred to someone in a slip of a tongue remark, repeatedly or not, is a total waste of both tax payers' money and a waste of editorial space in your news pages. To enlighten the councillors of both sides, you have been elected to improve our town, NOT to waste our time and money taking umbrage at schoolyard insults. Grow up and earn your respective places on a sadly lacking of substance council.
