MAYBE someone could enlighten me regarding DVLA and the road tax situation; you purchase a car or motorbike, the vehicle is already taxed by the previous owner, you are then expected, as the new owner to tax it again for the same month, the month that has already been paid for by the previous owner, who does not get a refund for this month.
Why should the DVLA have the benefit, is this not indirectly stealing and could you win in a court of law.
Comments would be appreciated and much better if we could take it further.
