WHAT would Saturday night's TV be like without 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'The X Factor'?

Sadly, both these popular shows are beginning to show their age, 'Strictly' is ruined for me by the incessant girly-girly, waffling and wittering of Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.

Bruce Forsyth is sadly missed for the unique touch of comedy he brought to the show, Claudia Winkleman's attempt to step into his shoe are pathetic. Also allegations of fixing are no help to the current series.

The X Factor suffers from an over-indulgent 'so called' panel of judges who are constantly trying to hog the limelight, distracting the audience's attention away from contestants whose very lives are dependant on the judges' informed decisions.

Even Simon Cowell the show's creator seems too laid back, allowing this to happen. Re-introducing the comedy element, ie Graham Norton or Paul O'Grady might improve 'Strictly' and a completely new panel for the X Factor, how about Bruno Tonioli et al having a go?
