I LOVE the story on neo natal-care at Bolton hospital 'Fundraising for hospital in memory of baby Mia' October 20.
I have experienced first-hand how fantastic they are. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all the maternity staff and doctors due to a very rare pregnancy disorder which nearly killed me — placenta accreta.
The care I received in intensive care was fantastic and my plan in place in surgery was spot on. I truly owe my life and my son's to everyone that day. It resulted in a hysterectomy at 33 but losing that much blood, my life was more important. Thank you for praising the good work they do.
