WHAT planet is the council on ?

Weddings at Mere Hall consists of ample parking, lovely scenery and privacy.

Now what can people expect for weddings at the Albert Hall?

Finding a space on a car park, having to walk from car park to Albert Hall, and sometimes having to get Aunty Nellie, Grandad Percy to said venue, and they can hardly walk.

I can picture the guests in their wedding finery battling the elements when the weather is inclement.

The bride and bridesmaids might get dropped off, causing delays to other traffic.

Photographs? Guests mingling on the pavement, whilst said bridegroom and bride pose, surrounded by the public passing, pity the cameraman!

No beautiful grass in the background, just boring buildings.

As for bereavement services at one stop shop, people don't need to go in a building where the public are sorting other matters when they are deeply upset at the loss of a loved one.

Mere Hall had it all, so we now go back to similar conditions when weddings were held at Paderborn house. Total lunacy.
