I WONDER if anybody has complained to Bolton Council highways department about the daily gridlock that is the two sets of traffic lights in Manchester Road at Moses Gate.
The first set, coming from Bolton town centre are at Lomax Street, left turn for Little Lever, and in less than 100 yards, the traffic light-controlled junction at Moses Gate.
The gridlock created here is virtually all day long.
Traffic builds up from the lights at Moses Gate and then you have the traffic from Bolton centre, sometimes blocking the junction at Lomax Street.
Then, as the lights change giving priority to traffic coming from Little Lever, the traffic jam gets even worse.
Bolton Council needs to do something about this daily traffic chaos, up until as late as 7pm from 6.30am.
