Reader's letter.
MY 83-year-old mother has received a letter, from Nat West advising her that they are to close her local bank on Chorley Old Road on June 14 next year.
She will then have to trek into Bolton town centre or use online or mobile banking — use of which is given as the reason for the closure.
Why do these large companies, organisations and government always assume that everybody has access to and can use (or wants to use) modern technology
