THE Brexiteers do seem fond of their closing instructions.

I was told to 'put up or shut up."

The latests anti-Brexit writer was ordered to 'put his dummy back in." I sense a whiff of oikish Farage there!

Brexiteers do seem nervous or arguments, don't they? And rightly so.

A huge number of people will never support the referendum result. Over the coming years this will turn into a flood as the long term effects will be witnessed. Apart from long term future harm to Britain, we are immediately witnessing the total distractions faced by the British government now.

Important issues do not wait politely until Brexit is sorted. The enormous problems, domestic and foreign, which any government has to face, are placed on a permanent back burner.

Brexit could take a decade or more to battle through. Years of to-ing and fro-ing, arguments and negotiations with an increasingly weary Europe.

We had a typical example recently, when the PM received a tiny fraction of attention, then had to leave whilst the rest of Europe discussed its business without us.We face years of wasted time, with hardly any result.

We have huge social problems relating to NHS, prisons, welfare, transport, the future of farming. The list goes on...overseas issues cloud the horizon.

Store them on a back burner. The government has no idea of a plan for Britain out of Europe, which direction to take us as we tap pathetically on Europe's door, begging for a political crust.

No, Brexiteers. A huge number of folk will not follow your charming requests. The battle continues.
