THE rejection of the Bowlands Hey application at Thursday’s Planning Committee meeting is fantastic news for Westhoughton.
Not only that, it is a great victory for local campaigners who have worked tirelessly to fight this application at every stage. The campaign has been a long and bitter one at times but the result demonstrates that hard work does indeed pay off.
Congratulations to everyone involved, your victory is well deserved!
