I’M beginning to feel sorry for the Remoaners. They never seem to get it right.

What was it the experts were telling us before the Brexit vote? The economic shock caused by a leave vote would shatter British economy; there would be an emergency budget, job losses and budget cuts.

Since then the UK has registered two quarters of higher than expected growth, in fact the UK has the fastest growing economy in Europe. With investment and employment up.

Recent polls showed 62% of the population support Mrs May’s negotiating stance for a full Brexit with only 15% opposing.

I don’t make predictions of the future but one thing is sure the ridiculous claims of economic catastrophe made by the Remain campaign have proven to be wrong like they were wrong on the Euro, wrong on immigration and wrong on the migrant crisis.

In spite of the outrageous labelling of Leavers as racist, xenophobic and the rest, the people of Bolton in record numbers refused to be intimidated or bullied and on June 23 did the right thing. It was another example of what makes the UK such a special country.
