HAVING watched Bolton since the early Eighties I've witnessed first hand the good and the bad times both home and away. Now is the time to get behind our team for the rest of the season and help them get over the finishing line.

I have watched Bolton at many away grounds up and down the country and witnessed how the stewards generally deal with Bolton fans. Why then, are our stewards so focused on throwing out visiting supporters often with as much physical intervention as possible. They seem hell bent on agitating visiting supporters for minor incidents.

I sit close enough to the away fans to see the same old faces on the team of stewards bristling for an opportunity to 'enforce' their justice.

This has been going on for years, yet season after season they go unchecked.

The recent game against Charlton was yet another example of how they can turn an innocuous situation (when compared to the average Bolton away game fans' behaviour ) into a situation where they can dispense their justice.

Can someone at the club /police please take steps to curb their approach and return to an acceptable level of monitoring away fans whilst intervening only when necessary and not when they are ready for some 'action'

"The ejection of supporters is always as a last resort and often occurs after numerous warnings have been issued for contraventions of the terms and conditions of entry to the stadium."
