I AM not the only one who was appalled reading "lizards were found lounging around Bromley Cross Library".
Even more disgusted with Bolton Council for organising this "educational event".
Mobile zoos and animal parties are not as fun as they seem.
Animals spend hours travelling up and down the country to be used in mobile zoo events.This can be very stressful for animals; particularly those belonging to exotic species.
There are more than 180 mobile zoo businesses in the UK, using thousands of animals.
The industry is virtually unregulated, are not inspected or checked so animals are very vulnerable.
What messages are we giving our children?
Animals are not entertainment and mobile zoos could put your child and animals at risk.
