WITH regards to the story about smoking at the hospital, I'm a smoker of many years and have to say I agree that smoking should not be allowed near the doors.
Even though I smoke I hate walking into a fog of smoke coming out of the hospital.
However I think it's unfair to penalise smokers, it is their choice: especially if it's someone who is a long stay patient. Give us a proper dedicated smoking shelter which shelters from the elements, a reason people smoke at the door is because it is sheltered.
