IN response to, Questions for Labour candidates, May 12, I am surprised and more than a bit disappointed that The Bolton News' saw fit to publish this blatantly untrue and quite frankly disgusting letter.
To say as the letter does, that the Labour party has an open policy on membership and that Corbyn is unashamedly happy to promote Hamas etc is the kind of comment I would expect to find in a hate filled far right leaflet.
It is the politics of the gutter. To give column inches to such is to give them (who are they?) a voice, a hate filled, dangerous confrontational voice.
I am not a member of the Labour party but vote Labour and have to say that if the letter is considered reasonable and fair minded then God help us all.
