REGARDING the new build of houses at Grundy Farm, (Bolton News, June 29) over the months in jaw-dropping disbelief, I have studied their progress.
In the 80s when I did a mere loft conversion, I was regularly visited by the local building inspector who inspected every nail and brick. Now it seems that five houses one could see from Mars clearly didn’t warrant a visit from the planning office, or they would have been stopped in their giant footprints.
The Sparkle Developments client, in haste to go commando, has not only compromised his/her own assets but also those of committed buyers.
Councillor Peel says ‘find a way of resolving it.’ The wrecking ball says, ‘Right, Guv.’
