IN response to Cllr Sue Haworth's letter regarding the necessity of steam and sauna rooms to be installed at Bolton One.
I would like to ask her why where they not considered necessary five years ago when the centre was built and why are they not considered essential for the members of the multimillion pound centre being built in Horwich?
She states that saunas and steam rooms make better athletes according to research that may be the case for professional athletes.
But in my experience they are places to socialise and relax and I agree they should be part of new sport centres so why is Horwich Centre not considered or will they be added at more expense in five years
