IN response to Ian Holland's letter, how can he sleep at night knowing that the amount of people sleeping rough on our streets has more than doubled under this government?

So has the number of children living in poverty which has more than doubled. Almost six million people are living in housing not fit for human habitation but paying exorbitant rents. I cannot believe he is really proud of that. Obviously he never wanted neither the health service nor the welfare state, services the Labour Party provided.

Mr Holland also thinks it's clever for people not to pay their taxes but to hide wealth in offshore businesses; not to pay their taxes for companies; not to pay a fair wage not even to pay the minimum wage. He also thinks it's clever for the banks to receive billions of pounds of confetti money which they were supposed to invest in small businesses to make jobs in the regions.

People are serving prison sentences for the rape and sexual abuse of children but the children are denied compensation. Is it because they are only children and poor so they do not count? I am ashamed that this country treats the poor so badly; this country can afford whatever it wants to afford. Jeremy Corbyn has the steel and will to do it and will to make it happen. It's time that everybody paid all the taxes that are hidden away; we all should be happy to pay our just amount of tax and if people don't pay their passports should be confiscated. It really is that simple. If you don't pay tax in this country you cannot own a newspaper; America does this and it is land of capitalism.
