IN response to Kevan Jones answering my recent letter regarding the terrible train service that he believes we will have a better service in the "not too distant future".
I worked in Manchester from 1990-1996 and then 2001-2006, trains were late, people packed on unable to breathe let alone move and all these years later it's no different. How long are we supposed to wait? As for safety do you think people being physically pushed onto the trains so the doors can be closed is safe? It's only a matter of time before someone is hurt and what about disabled people, they have no chance of boarding a early train to Manchester. We are being robbed with continual rising prices, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask!
