AFTER reading about the new food and drink bar Black Milk in the Market Place, I was so disappointed to then read it is "all halal".
What about the people of Bolton who don't want to purchase and eat products that are halal approved?
Halal is a cruel and barbaric practice of slaughtering animals while fully conscious and letting them bleed to death slowly.
We should follow countries such as Denmark who are now banning halal/ kosher slaughter and putting animal welfare before ancient religious beliefs.
