ON behalf of all at Bolton Hospice, including all those patients and their families who will benefit from the fabulous fundraising effort, I would like to say a very big thank you to the following.

Firstly, a Touch of Class Dance Studio at Little Lever led by Teresa Croasdale and her team for giving up their time so generously over the past 12 weeks to teach and support our 20 couples who took part in the Strictly Learn to Dance competition on Saturday evening at the Macron Stadium.

The standard of dancing was fantastic and the competitors gave their all, truly getting into the spirit of the competition with fabulous outfits and fake tan and sequins galore!

Once again the evening was hosted and compered by Bolton FM with Phil Ashcroft and Andrew Dickson as our comperes for the evening, together with the full support of the Bolton FM technical team producing an amazing sound and lighting show worthy of a national production.

Without the support of both organisations, this event simply would not happen and we are indebted to their loyal support and total professionalism once again.

Finally, can I thank all our wonderful dancers and the people of Bolton who made this a sell-out event and who have helped us to raise much needed funds once again.
