WHEN is Bolton council going to get its act together on litter?

My wife and I park near Aldi every Sunday to go to town and have a coffee.

What a dump it is round there — Dingle Walk is an absolute disgrace there are industrial bins flowing over into the street.

Walk a little further and couches and rubbish just thrown into the street, houses with rubbish piled up in the backyards and the pathways full of leaves from about three winters that have never been swept.

All the buildings in the area are pretty new — it looks horrible.

If you walk up form there to Halliwell Road, it's the same story — rubbish everywhere, and going down into Sharples Vale it looks like a corporation tip.

I know it's not all the fault of the council — people only have to clean rubbish from their front doors and shopfronts which would take less than a minute and Bolton would be a much nicer place.

But people just don't seem to be bothered about their environment any more.

The council needs to educate people to care about there environment and get the place cleaned up before we get infested with vermin.

Come on, everyone, let's make the place a lovely environment you can live in.
