HERE we go again.
Our Labour councillors have given the go-ahead for a Ryder Cup golf course in Hulton Park.
They want to build 1,000 homes and a clubhouse on greenbelt land.
Two golf courses nearby have closed due to lack of interest and cost.
It will be with interest to see if the clubhouse is build before the houses for, in some cases, houses were built and not the clubhouse.
I have no faith in the Secretary of State for housing. Every inspector from that office has allowed all houses in Bolton to be built on green belt land.
It is going to cause traffic jams, there are not enough schools in the area and with more people living there, it is going to stretch local resources.
