I WOULD like to make an appeal to pensioners in Little Lever on behalf of Little Lever Pensioners Club— we urgently need new members.
Just recently we have lost a few members who have passed away and some that can’t come due to ill health. We meet on a Thursday afternoon starting at 1pm. and finish about 4pm.
We have a dominoes drive and a whist drive; half way through we break for a cup tea or coffee and a chocolate biscuit. We are non-political; we have no cliques or little private group’s, just one big happy family that get on well with one another.
Our chairman, Alice, secretary, Kit, treasurer, Dot, and committee work hard to see to our needs.
So please come and try us, no one will pressurise you to join. The club has been in existence for a great number of years. So please give us a try.
