A COUPLE'S plans to build a pet cemetery on land they own look set to face further objections.
Members of North Turton Parish Council have already expressed their concerns about the proposals for land at Crowthorn Farm, off Broadhead Road, Edgworth.
Now the council has contacted the Government Office North-west to express its fears that the plans will affect the green belt.
Verna Sandiford and John Woodward run an animal sanctuary at their farm and want somewhere to bury the animals on site when they die.
The couple have lodged their plans with Blackburn and Darwen Council and are awaiting a decision.
