LAST week’s photograph did prove to be a bit of a challenge for many of you.
Although George Horrocks can usually be relied upon to correctly identify almost every photograph we publish you were not right this time George I’m afraid.
Sorry Bernard Lomax it was not Leverhulme Park.
But correct answers came from James Haslam, who explains that it was The Jumbles “before the flooding for the reservoir”, Hindred Lord, John Turner and Mr Jenkins.

Some of you will live in this area and recognise it straight away. The hill could well give it away.
