Carnival fun for children on Bolton estate in the '80s
THIS photograph shows a group of children having fun back in July, 1988.
Although the weather was wet it did not dampen the spirits of the Top o’th’ Brow estate residents as the estate carnival made its way around the district. Several groups from the estate took part in the parade including pupils from Top o’th’ Brow CP School who are dressed here in Wizard of Oz costumes.
