A BIG cast were fizzing with excitement for a extravagant musical production.
Horwich RMI Operatic Society packed out the stage in Horwich Leisure Centre back in March 1986.
The group were preparing to don their dress and tuxedos for a production of Pink Champagne.
The musical is based on Johann Strauss' operetta Die Fledermaus.
Centred around a champagne party, lovers attempt to evade their other halves and police arrest the wrong man in the production which was first performed in Vienna in 1874.
Pictured are cast members just before brushing up on the final details of the show produced by Olive Hart alongside musical director Colin Smith and choreographer Doreen Wood.
